Following the Iranian armed forces’ “True Promise” operation against Israel, the Iranian Foreign Ministry promptly conveyed a warning message to the United States on Sunday morning via the Swiss embassy in Tehran.
In connection with this, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces said, “We communicated through the Swiss Embassy should the US participate in any forthcoming actions by Israel against Iran, their regional bases will be no more secure, and we will cope with that accordingly.”
Furthermore, Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran’s Foreign Minister, articulated at a meeting with foreign ambassadors in Tehran, “We have informed the White House via a communique this morning that our military engagements are confined and minimal, aimed solely at legitimate self-defense and punitive action against the Israeli regime.” The conveyance of this message was facilitated through the Swiss Embassy in Tehran.
On Saturday night, Iran executed operation True Promise, launching a barrage of missiles and drones at Israeli targets. This offensive was a retaliatory measure against the Israeli assault on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
