Iran Nuances has learned that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will depart for Beijing, the capital of China, today, Thursday, to engage in discussions with his Chinese counterpart tomorrow, Friday.
This marks the first visit by the current Iranian foreign minister to China during his tenure in the present administration.
During the visit, a broad spectrum of bilateral, regional, and international issues is anticipated to be addressed.
Recently, China’s Deputy Premier visited Tehran and held meetings with Iranian officials.
In addition to bilateral matters, recent regional developments, including those in Syria, are likely to be on the agenda for the Iranian foreign minister’s discussions in Beijing. Other significant topics expected to be covered include the situations in Yemen, Gaza, Lebanon, and the broader West Asian region.
