Today, the Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi,will depart for Baghdad to discuss regional and bilateral issues with senior Iraqi officials.
Iran Nuances learned that Araghchi will then travel to Muscat, the capital of Oman, to continue regional and bilateral consultations. After returning to Tehran, he will proceed to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, followed by a visit to Amman, the capital of Jordan, to discuss regional situation.
Previously, the Foreign Minister traveled to Beirut, Damascus, Riyadh, and Doha to discuss regional developments. The recent increase in Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Gaza, along with the assassination of several senior resistance officials, has significantly heightened regional tensions. Consequently, the Iranian top diplomat has intensified regional political consultations.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Parliament, arrived in Beirut yesterday, where he met with Lebanese officials and visited the bombed areas of the city.
