In a quick commencement of his foreign diplomatic engagements, Iran’s recently designated Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali-Akbar Ahmadian, is poised to hold a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart in Tehran.
A source told Iran Nuances that the encounter with Iraq’s National Security Adviser, Qasim al-Araji, is slated to take place on Monday morning, May 29.
This meeting occurs shortly after Ahmadian’s appointment as Iran’s top security figure by President Ebrahim Raisi, just a week prior.
